In the continuation of the project of transborder cooperation TRIC the workers of Transborder Info Centre developed project «Integrated informational system of cooperation of population and branches of power of transborder region Brest-Lublin» that was stated at the session of Selection Committee of neighbourhood programme «Polnad-Belarus-Ukraine» on March 12-13 th 2007 and got co-financing from TACIS funds.
The project is being realized by Brest Transborder Info Centre that is the sector of Brest Regional Communal Unitary Enterprise «Centre of implementation of scientific and technical developments», Brest executive committee, Educational establishment «Brest state technical university » (Brest, Belarus) and «House of Europe» (Lublin, Poland).
The main aim of the project is the improvement of provision with information the population of frontier regions of the Republic of Belarus and Lublin province of the Republic of Poland on the possibilities of transborder cooperation.
Creation of the base comprising information on state establishments, procedures of border crossing, legal aspects of business organization, protection of legal rights of citizens of Poland and Belarus will influence positively the intensification of Polish-Belarusian cooperation.
As the result of consecutive work, initiative and concentration of finances:
In the net of the programme TACIS Poland- Belarus- Ukraine 2007-2013 in Brest will be placed branch of Joint Technical Secretariat on the base of Brest Transborder Info Centre. Operation of the branch of JTS will spread over the whole territory of the Republic of Belarus.
